Bryansk

Forgotten Animals in 2012 got a call from a concerned group of people who wanted to open a shelter, but didn’t have enough funds or experience. Forgotten Animals helped build the first shelter in the city of Bryansk with a donation. Besides just providing funds, we provided know- how and support, so the shelter is as close to Western like as possible. Neutered, healthy animals are being re-homed at a good rate of 55 percent per year and actively promoted by the committed team in Bryansk. The team also hosts regular events in the city to raise awareness about the shelter and responsible pet ownership. In 2015 Forgotten Animals had the means to do a neutering project there, which we hope to be able to repeat in the future.
