Moscow
Moscow is the “base” of the charity, where most of the activities are coordinated from. When regions need legal support with prosecution of animal abusers, they call Anastasia, lawyer and the President of Forgotten Animals Russia. Besides that, she is part of the working group in the Duma (Russian Parliament) developing and lobbying functioning animal welfare legislation for the country.
Media appearances, interviews and published articles that promote animal welfare in Russia and shine the light on important issues related to animals are very important if we want to raise awareness and make people see animals with the new eyes. This means one can often find Anastasia on TV and Radio shows, writing press releases and commenting to journalists on a variety of issues.
Just outside Moscow, Anastasia also runs a small but very efficient private shelter with 25 animals, where after being treated and rehabilitated most of them are being rehomed, while the rest live at the shelter.
